The host even offered us an unassigned parking spot in the same lot if we wanted to leave our car to explore after check out. There are stairs going up to the apartment but they are well lit and not difficult to climb. We appreciated all of the goodies he left us in the refrigerator, as well as coffee, tea, and cocoa. The apartment is located directly across the street from a LIDL market that had everything we needed for our breakfast. There is also an ALDI market about one block down that we walked to without difficulty. We preferred the LIDL products if we had to choose. There is an electric cooker stored in the cabinet, but we did not use it. Each day we were there we walked into the city center part of town. We walked with an 8-year-old, so it took us about 15 minutes. You will have to bring your own toiletries, but we always do anyway so it wasn't a big deal.
