It had a fully equipped kitchen, and the building also had a ski room and a place to wax equipment. The location was perfect, short walking distance from the slopes, restaurants, and tour centre.

Wow for the price I payed this was terrific! I wasn't expecting a private sauna in the bathroom when I booked (I'm not sure if they advertise that clearly but it was definitely a cool bonus) it heated up properly too (100C+). Facilities are great, lots of cutlery and plates etc, new kitchen facilities. It worked great for me as a night stopover on my road trip.

El Tunturioravat ofrece 5 cabañas construidas con troncos junto al monte Ylläs, a 5 minutos a pie del centro de Äkäslompolo. Absolutely everything. We had a lovely time in Äkäslompolo, and staying in Tunturioravat made our stay so much better. It's a lovely cabin, perfectly located, very close to restaurants, coffe places, supermarket, walking/skiing trails, and at the same time you get a nice feeling of being in the middle of nature. The cabin has everything necessary for a great stay. We were lucky enough to spot some amazing, clear, northern lights right outside our cabin. Last but certainly not least, Simon is such a great host, always quickly to respond to texts, super kind, and he went further and beyond to accommodate our requests. We will most definetely return to Äkäslompolo, and there's no question we'll be staying here again. Again, thank you so much for everything!

The Sauna is very small, basically only for one people. That’s shame, because apartment is for 4-6 people. Instructions about the key pick up and the rules of housing (for example: is cleaning included or not) were bad. We had to call to the host to get information how we can pick up keys. This information should be on the booking app.

Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Loved the sauna and the fireplace. Great communication with the host. Quiet neighborhood. Beautiful area. We would book it again and recommend it to others.
