This recently renovated holiday home is located 27 km from Ecole des Mines de Douai and 28 km from Douai Train Station. The location was excellent. It was a really nice stay. Once you book it and the trip comes closer, Laure will sent you a wonderfully detailed pamphlet. All the information was easily obtained from that. If necessary it was very easy to contact the host. We stayed for a short overnight stay this time and did not get to see everything - but consider staying longer a next time just to visit Arras in it's full extent: Laure definitely made us very intrigued in the city!

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. The guest house features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. Galerie Jacqueline Storme is a wonderful place to stay. The proprietor is very helpful, kind, and personable; my room was extremely well designed, with lighting in all the right places (for working, for reading in bed), a spacious modern bathroom, a comfortable bed, and large windows that looked out onto the tiled rooftops nearby. The breakfast was really splendid: breads and cheeses, fruits and vegetables, gorgeous confiture, and if you want, cooked eggs (whichever way you like) and bacon. I loved staying here and if I return to Lille I will definitely try to stay here again. It is an easy walking distance to "old" Lille, and there are several buses within a few minutes' walk that go to the railway station.

Very peaceful, but close to the major routes. The garden was lovely and we spent some time out there enjoying the weather! The accomdation was clean, well provisioned and it felt very comfortable. We only stayed a night, but could easily stay for longer.
