Situated 5 minutes’ walk from Kikian River, Patal Kikian Sidemen features an outdoor swimming pool set amidst the gardens.

Rooms are fan-cooled and have a private terrace with seating area overlooking the mountains and gardens. It also has a mosquito net, desk and en suite bathroom with shower facilities. The villa was very comfortable, room service was great too. We stayed for two days and that was perfect - anything longer would have been too long; there is not much to do otherwise and the only food option is the cafe on site (we did not want to go out of the resort as it seemed a bit complicated/not worth it). We went during the rainy season in Dec and we were fine with it, but bear in mind that during this time it gets quite cloudy (so we only saw the peak of Agung for 15-20mins one morning when it was clear, and then it quickly became cloudy again). The pool in the villa is not heated - we dipped once, but it was not a great experience as the weather was not hot enough for it - that is not a complaint from our side, just a heads up if anyone considers whether it is worth booking this particular villa. Pools are mostly not heated in Bali, but sun heats them up - that's not the case here :)

Each room beautifully blends modern interiors with Balinese decor. Had an amazing time here. It’s super beautiful and lots of places to eat nearby. I’d recommend to come here if you’re looking to disconnect and reconnect with nature. Staff also super friendly and nice. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Recommend staying here.

Guests can indulge in pampering treatments at the spa. Wi-Fi is accessible for free in public areas. The view was stunning and the ROOM SIZE and beauty. The hall, the decoration it was AMAZING !!!!!!!!! 5 stars !

It’s like staying with family I fully recommend this homestay :D

The views are spectacular, offering a sense of peace and tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere in Bali. The breakfast provided is delicious, and enjoying it in front of the rice fields is a highlight of the stay. The owners are exceptionally kind and welcoming, they truly go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home. The path to the property is a bit tucked away, but they proactively contacted me, came to meet me, and even helped with my luggage, which was such a thoughtful gesture. They also assisted with arranging transportation to Amed, making everything so easy😄😄
