Terimakasih homestay is situated in Pulau Mansuar and offers a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. It was beautifully maintained and so clean. Beds were very comfortable and views from the room were amazing. It honestly is so much nicer than it even looks in photos. The house reef is incredible to snorkel at - clown fish right outside your patio at high tide. Banana fritters delivered to you every afternoon around 4-5. Power (and fan) all night. Bathrooms kept clean and were “comfortable” to use :) they had some great snorkel tours offered - we enjoyed the Mansuar tour (4-5 snorkel stops + sandbar and was a half day) & gam tour (a few snorkel spots, some amazing “passages”, and mangroves… this was a full day tour and we travelled all around gam). The dog (Goldie <3 ) is the sweetest thing - we would leave water out for her and feed her our scrap chicken and fish. She didn’t beg but was so grateful for everything (she had 5 puppies at the time we were there & was still breastfeeding her pups)

The property has an outdoor dining area. We had an amazing stay with Turtle homestay. The food was excellent – we're both vegetarians, and they took great care of us. The rooms were comfortable, and the beach was stunning. The highlight of our stay was the wonderful staff. A special thank to Asrul and Will who dived with us – the dives were incredible and their company was so nice. Also, thanks to the rest of the team who were so kind and helped us with everything. Can’t wait to come again.

Oh, and I forgot their two sweet dogs Ringo & Dingo 🐾🐾 Owners are very helpful and speak several languages so easy to communicate with them. Internet is sometimes a bit unstable so take that into account when expecting speedy replies (sometimes it just doesn’t work and patience is a good thing to have). The food - home style cooking (breakfast, lunch and dinner are all cooked by the owner and her team and she is a great cook; we loved every meal which was perfectly catered to our vegetarian / pescatarian wishes) The rooms are close to nature as well, with very comfy beds (we stayed in both the smaller and the biggest family room, which easily fits 3 respectively 4 people; the 3rd bed in the smaller room has a wonderful treehouse feeling and there is a bunkbed in the biggest room). Hard to capture the beauty of the rooms in just one picture (I took several but could only post one here with my review). You can hear the sea and birds from your bedroom. It’s right next to you. No frills, just natural materials, which we loved. Also no warm water, but easily to get used to. There’s a shower and mandi style shower. Also your own toilet. Plus the blue blue sea right at your doorstep and a lovely sitting area with a hammock to complete the zen-feeling. There’s a long jetty into the sea with a perfect spot for exercise/meditation/yoga at the end. Fitness with a view! It’s quiet and feels very private. You instantly feel relaxed here. Different excursions to choose from, both on land and on/under the sea. Please note: these come at an extra cost and Raja Ampat area is not cheap!!!! I will start with Aaron and his family who are the sweetest and nicer people we’ve met … it is such a special place to stay in Raja Ampat.. Mandee (the guide) is very funny and the best piano player and singer !! Papa Ella best driver who took us to see mantas in the Reef just in front of the house !!! The rooms are big and cute, very very clean and well decorated. You have a wardrobe to put your staff into. The view on the bay is stunning…. You can see fish, as well as baby sharks but also a lot of impressive birds (hornbills, cacatoes, …) The bathroom area is always clean and you have shower gel also ! The food is very tasty and fresh !! It’s always something different (we had various type of fish each day, vegetables, and much more) ! The little pancakes were our favorites for the 5pm snack ahah !! They also build up a view point to see the sunrise and a chill place for sunset on the other side of the bay >> best sunset ever in raja Ampat ! The trips we did with them were well organised and at the cheapest price in the whole area (arborek Jetty, citrus garden, bird of paradis, couscous, pyaniyamo) ! Thanks for everything guys….
