Nothing was too much trouble and we felt so well looked after.

They also helped us plan our sightseeing trips in the local area and even took us to the local village to meet their parents. We would highly recommend for those looking to come to the Nilgiris hills, in particular foreign travellers who want to understand local culture and relax in the countryside. The WiFi was good enough to do some work calls which came up, which was helpful. Perfect English spoken. We enjoyed tea tasting at Tranquilitee and recommend Cafe Diem for lunch, an organic vegetarian cafe with a stunning view.

We actually found the view from the hotel better than the view from Kodaikanal itself. The hotel owner Imbaraj was very kind and helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The site managers, Nirmal and Padma, were wonderful. They made us excellent South Indian breakfast and dinner on request. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet, beautiful rural area yet very close to Kodaikanal town.
