So special from the history and craftsmanship and kind hosts and stories they tell us if we catch them. People in town are so so friendly. Shy in the beginning but only 5 minutes after, like old relatives. Highly recommended to take time and stay chez Sakai!

Big living room and separate sleeping room. Pyjama etc provided. All products organic. Amazing place with amazing surroundings. The young couple extremly kind and helpful. Picked us up at the train station and brought us in the evening to an amazing good restaurant. The place is not that far from Eiheiji Temple.

The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. It was one of three onsens we visited, and I must say it was as good as the others, which were more expensive. They were also very good about meeting us at the station with their limo bus. Very enjoyable.

Have to pick up keys some miles from Obama station--have to take taxi. But I had not read the instructions carefully. The instructions were clear and everything was fine. Taxi driver to key pick up was exceptionally helpful.
