Het Miyajima Seaside Hotel ligt op slechts 5 minuten rijden met de gratis pendeldienst van de veerhaven van Miyajima. De accommodatie biedt een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. This was easily one of the best - if not the best - hotel experience I have ever had in my life! The staff was super friendly, took care of our baggage while we went sightseeing (they even offered us umbrellas!) and then came to get us in the evening to bring us to the hotel. The included dinner and breakfast were amazing, it really was a luxurious experience! The onsen accepted tatoos so another plus. The seaside view was beautiful even if the weather was not ideal.

Our stay at this modern hotel on Miyajima Island was fantastic from start to finish. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Although the hotel is about a kilometer from the ferry terminal, they offer a free and very convenient transfer service, which made everything super easy. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the famous Itsukushima Shrine, the iconic torii gate, and also close to the ropeway up Mount Misen. We chose a plan with dinner and breakfast included, and the dining experience was truly exceptional — dinner was a beautifully presented multi-course fine dining experience, and breakfast was a traditional Japanese-style meal that we really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and check-in, check-out, and arranging the transfer were all effortless. The small public bath was a great way to relax, especially the outdoor section, which was tastefully decorated with plants and felt amazing on a chilly night after a day of hiking. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious stay on Miyajima!

Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー bevindt zich in Onomichi, op 24 km van Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Loved it! It felt special to be in the heart of the area, it was the perfect respite on our biking trip and the owner was lovely. It’s at the bottom of a temple.

The property is a traditional Japanese house, typical of the Miyajima region. Beautifully preserved and with contemporary furniture that they managed to combine in an extraordinary way. The house is very small, so it has only one room, this makes you practically rented not a room, but the house complete with your own Japanese interior garden, its doors of Japanese paper, by the way very beautiful. They place incense, which gives it a very pleasant atmosphere. An extraordinary experience to rest in a Ryokan in a magical destination. Kousu Ke takes care of the property and was an extraordinary person, kind and very helpful. He solved a problem for me with the shipment of a package that he had lost at a destination prior to our arrival, and made sure I received it at my next destination. There cannot be a better host. The location is unbeatable, a couple of blocks from the main street. Walking to the bay took you through the little streets of traditional houses, and you could see the residents going about their daily lives.

The apartment was clean , comfortable and very well equipped. We particularly liked the beds (very comfortable) and the wet room. The landlord was exceptional - we received clear instructions on how to enter the property on the day and were able to leave our luggage on arrival. He also helped us find a good, local supermarket. We felt the price was very fair versus the range of facilities and the fact that you could fit up to 6 people in the apartment. The location was good versus the attractions. The only detractor (which was not an issue) was the view from the window. Overall a great find - thank you.

Very clean and only a 10 minute walk to peace park. Hundreds of restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely be back!!

Place was very spacious and basically had everything you'd need. The location was great, didn't realise it was so close to so many things, very good. Would definitely love to stay again.
