The room was a traditionnal japanese tatami mat one, you have different options for your futon, it was very comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. We felt very welcome and had an amazing stay, thank you !

The hotel’s traditional Japanese wooden architecture was really fascinating, and staying there was such a unique experience. I was a bit worried the room might be too small, but it was perfectly comfortable for two people. The bathroom facilities were especially amazing, so if you’re someone who enjoys bathing, I’d highly recommend this place. The host, Kevin, was super friendly and easy to communicate with, and he quickly took care of any requests we had. He really went above and beyond. Everything—from the Wi-Fi and hot water to the heating, bedding, and cleanliness—was spot on, with no issues at all. Plus, the location was fantastic. It’s right in the city center, so you can easily walk to major spots like Kiyomizu-dera, Pontocho, and Gion, which also saved us some transportation costs. I’d definitely come back to stay here on my next Kyoto trip!
