The room, onsen, view - everything was just so wonderful. it’s a 10 minute walk to town but I really enjoyed it! if you’re on the fence, book your stay here! you will not regret it. arigato gozaimashita to the staff!

I highly recommend the Grand Verde Resort!!! You won’t regret it

Staying at Garakuchin completes Japanese old style house living desire. -Wonderful private Onsen is available. Two types to choose. -Staff is very helpful and his english is very good. He offered us the service to drive to train station. That really helps saving our time and energy! -Room is clean and comfortable -Nice weather with great adventure while walking ~1 km from Yufuin station to the hotel.

The hot spring is amazing, larger than I imagined and the water are perfect We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location, so much room, the views were stunning, and the place was so clean. Truly a great experience. T Staying g in YUFUIN would not have been the same in a hotel. This made our trip extra special.

What a lovely place to stay! it is a private home that has been converted to a home stay however the manager was not onsite during the night and you did not feel like you were living in someone's pocket. Clean, warm and comfortable. our room was a traditional Japanese one. I was a bit wary about sleeping on the floor but the futons were thick and exceptionally comfortable with plenty of blankets. There is a private hot spring bath that is available for use which is lovely to soak in. staff were really nice and the breakfast was super delicious!
