She made our stay extremely comfortable, and the futons were the most comfortable we had ever slept on!!! Also we were going to a local onsen and she provided us with coupons! We were very pleased! I highly recommend this accommodation for its location, price and hospitality!

I accidently left an umbrella that I borrowed from them at the nearby store, and the lady said don't worry about it and that she'll get it. It was very genuine. Was only a few other people staying at the time I was there, so it was very quiet. And the bathhouse was a very relaxing and unique experience. Many amenities are surprisingly provided as well, and as soon as I checked in the gentleman provided me hot tea. Was very good value for the money... I just wish there was more to do in Takaoka, but there's some decent day trips you can take from there. Would without a doubt stay there again if I went to Takaoka.

We liked the area it was in which was very beautiful. The staff was quick to reply to us and it have all the amenities one needed. The guide with it was very helpful when exploring Johana. We had booked to go to Shirokawa-Go but Johana was much better and the accommodation exceeded our expectations.

Our host was fabolous and even opened his bar for us although no other guests were there at that time. He even organised us tickets for a train ride and made a reservation at an izakaya in the neighborhood. Thank you very much for having us!
