Trevor and Jean are lovely hosts and they made us feel like home the moment we arrived. The property is beautiful, quiet, with amazing garden and swimming pool. There’s a lot of nice spots to chill around, and board games and ping-pong table 🤗 The staff is very lovely and does all they can to make your stay memorable. We’ve fallen in love with Saidi’s food - In addition to delicious breakfast, he can arrange diner, and we went for seafood platter which was heaven. The room is so lovely and comfortable with ALL you might need: comfy bed, hairdryer, fridge, AC, fan, closet, hot shower with good pression, etc. Really, this place is heaven and we’re excited to come back. At the villa complex, every unit is equipped with bed linen and towels. A very nice place. A wonderful pool, the rooms are nice and with aircondition. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, table tennis, free private parking and free WiFi. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, full-day security and luggage storage for guests. Location can't be beat : the sandbar is practically behind the accomodation, with a direct path to the (best) beach. The plot is big, so it's really nice to wander around all the plants and little paths. The double room we had was lovely, with view on the outside. Shout-out to the wonderful team who cooked amazing food for us and taught us Swahili. Very nice village close by, next to F-cafe, and good local food around. We had the best best time !

We booked a week at the Rafiki Jua in Watamu, precisely the Rafiki Jua is located inside the Rafiki Tamu, a brand new residence consisting of several apartments (The structure looks like in the photos). Rafiki Tamu is a modern and new structure located exactly halfway between Watamu center and the beautiful beach of Sardinia 2. Our apartment was on the ground floor, overlooking the pool, consisting of dining room with kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All nicely decorated with a fantastic African style. Inside the structure the entire staff is super helpful, consisting of receptionists, security, cleaning and laundry service (included in the price), masseuses at a very competitive price, chef (available to prepare breakfasts, lunches and dinners). For those who do not want to experience a village I highly recommend Rafiki.

The property has an outdoor dining area. The beautifully decorated house is in a nice location with a great view of the marina. Nestled between some private properties and the renowned Mtwapa Marina. It’s the perfect place to go relax and recharge. Cleaned every day for us. (One can choose alternate days too) , the house was an immaculate home away from home. The private pool and jacuzzi was an awesome welcome especially in the sweltering Mombasa heat. Getting a chef for meal prep was ideal as you concentrate on your Rest, Recharge, Recovery and Relaxation 😎 The entire team made sure that we had a great time. We have found our home in Mtwapa. ❤️

The apartment is super functional and close to everything in Kilifi. It's clean, has AC and fans, a well equipped kitchen and a small balcony for a morning coffee. Everything worked. The compound also felt safe and in a calm area. Very good value for money.

From the moment of booking, the owners Martin and Daisy were really helpful, offering to get us supplies for our arrival and sort transfers, the help continued throughout our stay, providing us great tips for the area and sorting tuk tuks etc. The house exceeded expectations, it’s nice and spacious and cleaned daily. It’s in a peaceful area and very secure, close to the beach and popular spots in Watamu. The pool is a great size and cleaned daily with a beautiful surrounding garden to relax in, including Sun beds, a swinging bench (great morning coffee spot!) and outdoor dining area. We spent most evenings out here having night swims and had takeaway from the owners Resteraunt ‘Mama Kuku’, lovely local food, cheap and deliver - great when you have children and don’t want to head out for food all the time. We were sad to leave! But we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Martin & Daisy, we look forward to visiting again :)
