We loved our stay here so much we added one extra night. Darren was a fantastic host- very attentive and had great recommendations about things to do and places to eat. By talking to him we gained good insight into life in Don Det. We enjoyed a spacious, clean room with a big bed, beautiful views of sunset over the river, hammocks, a fridge and a good shower. Darren also offered pick up from the ferry, and he met us there with our luggage when we were leaving.

Of the area it was to us the best — a pristine pool and a nice shaded area on the river for watching the sunset. Breakfasts were generous and the staff super helpful (with excellent English). We walked to the two different waterfalls on different days, and it’s easy to pop over the bridge to Don Det. Lots of restaurants in the area, too. Dry relaxing

Khamphouy Guesthouse se encuentra en Champasak, a 31 km de Champasak Stadium y a 32 km de Champasak Historical Heritage Museum. This was a really nice place to stay. A basic guest house that did everything really well. My room was immaculately clean with cold AC, a ceiling fan, and hot water. I don't know if it was because I just had quiet neighbors but I didn't hear any noise from the other rooms. They also provide laundry service for a fee and rent motorbikes.

This place is awesome, it's far away from the town but that makes it more special. From here you can go easily to the other island and the waterfalls. The owner is really nice, always taking care of the guest and she even gave a bracelet at the end of my staying :) The bungalows are spacious and clean and the wifi works really good
