Baan Pila, is located in a quiet street, surrounded by a nice garden including a small pool and a sitting area. With the provided bicycles you can easily reach the old part of Luang Prabang. The furniture and decoration is a very unique mix of European style with handicraft pieces from Lao. The organic scents and soaps are great and the bed was sooooo comfortable. Thanks to the staff, who made our stay perfect. Higly recommended!

I've been to Luang Prabang many times before, staying in various hotels with a much higher price tag than this. However, I really enjoyed Villa Merry, due to it's location (right next door you have a few great restaurants, such as & Koji, Comma coffee, Pizza place, Zurich Bread, etc.), immaculate cleanliness, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds and beautiful views on Puxi hill and a mountains on another side. Complementary breakfast was fine too, we would get eggs and fresh fruit with a coffee every morning. Mr Sam who is the owner of the place, is such a pleasant host. He speaks very good English and would help us out when we needed. I will definitely be back here, it's a great value for money.

Wonderful hotel, the staff were extremely helpful & friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious. Excellent location pleasant 10 minutes walk to the night market or dock area. Amazing breakfast!

At first the lady couldn't find our booking but quickly upgraded us to a different room. Lin, who looked after us, was fantastic. Nothing was a problem and he was courteous and friendly always. Great location. A big thankyou for having us to stay.

Its a wonderful property close to all the main attractions. Super clean and well maintained. Breakfast is great, with local food options, and is served right near the riverside! They even provide cycles for free! Try to get a first floor room, cause they come with small balconies overlooking the Mekong river and the street. Wonderful stay all in all.
