The location is beautiful and quiet, but still on walking distance of the town. The owner and his employees are so kind and welcoming. We had a great time together. We were a bit hesitant while booking because there is no AC, but there are two fans in the room and that's more than enough in Nong Khiaw. We would love to stay here again and we would advise anyone to do so.

The guest house features some units with mountain views, and every unit is fitted with a balcony. fab location a short walk to restaurants bars etc but it was super quiet here and beautiful view of the river- maybe bring a torch to walk home at night though! best bed in Laos for me. Mr Mang, the owner, also runs a bunch of tours. we didn't get a chance to try one this time but he was incredibly helpful for booking bus transfer but also renting some kayaks just for a little paddle. all staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. I would stay again for sure!
