From the moment we arrived, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The warm, familial atmosphere was truly one of the highlights of our stay. To our surprise and delight, we were even given an upgrade for our accommodation, which added an extra touch of luxury to our stay. The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and perfectly designed to blend comfort with the natural beauty of the surroundings. A special mention goes to the Roshan's wife, whose cooking was absolutely phenomenal. Every meal was a feast of authentic Sri Lankan flavors, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and an extra touch of love. Dining at the resort felt like sharing a meal with family, and it was easily some of the best food we had during our entire trip. The service was beyond outstanding. The team went above and beyond to ensure every guest had an unforgettable experience. Whether it was arranging our safari to Wilpattu National Park, providing insightful tips about the area, or simply checking in to make sure we were comfortable, their attention to detail and genuine care were unmatched. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, exceptional hospitality, the surprise upgrade, and world-class cuisine made this stay truly special. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax, connect with nature, and feel genuinely cared for, Ceylon Resort Wilpattu is the perfect choice. I cannot recommend the stay and Service highly enough!

Nice and quiet setting in a farms area, although a bit far from the sea for those looking for beach holiday. For us was just fine as we enjoy daily long walks to discover the area. We had both breakfast and dinner. Very tasty, regards to the cook! The room has plenty of space to move around. We appreciated the high ceilings (had the upper floor) and nice views with palm trees canopy from the balcony.

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Great location close to beach. This area SL low key not all built up, quieter! The great breezes make it kite surfers paradise, and the breezes make the huge covered porch a nice place to hang out.. The family that manages very helpful, content & beautiful. They make good food, and help arrange local needs. The first night I stayed in budget room, but then upgraded for 2 nights to the larger cabana because it has better cross ventilation & surfaces to put things on. Both size rooms have your own porch with cushioned seating. Neither rooms have a/c but you don't need it with the good breezes & room fans.

The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!

Quiet place surrounded by lush greenery, with few rooms only and with beautiful view of the lagoon. Staff are very nice and helpful, food is amazing. Take a dinner with them, no many options in town!

There is free private parking and the property provides paid airport shuttle service. We decided to come to Kalpityia spontaneously and made a last minute booking. The owner was very welcoming and friendly, we felt really comfortable there. He made us an excellent dinner too. The whole area is basically a family business, all people we met were really warm and friendly. The accommodation is just a stone's throw from the beach, which is particularly great for kite surfing. It's a peaceful place surrounded by nature, perfect for both relax and activities.

Kalpitiya Beach is 1.9 km from the villa. Bandaranaike International Airport is 138 km from the property. It was tiny but comfortable accomodation with carefully maintained facilities, the host do not worry to help you going extra mile. The place is beautiful with little bit of landscaping.
