Great place to stay! The family who own it were beyond lovely and helpful. They arranged a tuktuk to collect me from the next door town after a terrible bus journey, organised brilliant safaris (I saw 7 rhinos in the jeeps, some very close!) and helped to get the bus to Bandipur. He would WhatsApp when Rhinos could be spotted in the village to come and see. The hotel was clean, great location, has mosquito nets over the bed and good working fans (it is very hot in Chitwan in end of May!!).

Beautiful place to stay in Sauraha, I enjoyed everything. The family here are the best people, they made me feel so comfortable and I really appreciated it. They help you in all the ways the can and make you feel at home like you are part of their family. The food is very good and they have a large choice for everyone's appetite. I also loved doing jungle walks with them, everything is very well organised. I ended up doing five days of walking in the jungle, which were wonderful. They also propose jeep safari, Tharu cultural visit and many other places to visit. The place is also very well located close to the river so you can get there in the morning or evening and spot many wild animals. It is in a quiet part of the town and the rooms beds are very good so you sleep well. I loved to stay there and thank you very much for everything. Greetings from paradise

I stayed one night at this hotel and immediately felt at home. The owner, Raj, was very welcoming, and the whole place has a warm, friendly atmosphere. The vibe is genuinely pleasant, it’s calm, peaceful, and the garden offers several cosy spots where you can sit and relax. The hotel is ideally located just a few minutes walk from the main street, while still being very quiet. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with everything I needed. After talking with Raj, I booked a two-and-a-half-day jungle trek with two guides, as well as a few hours of jeep safari. I was very satisfied with the service provided by Raj and the guides. If you enjoy walking and observing wildlife, I highly recommend the trek, it was an amazing experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful hotel with great value, this is definitely the place to stay. Our stay at KC’s Home in Chitwan was nothing short of heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of their extended family. They went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from answering our many queries to arranging our safari packages and even helping us book a car ride to Pokhara. The breakfast spread was another highlight. Whether you’re into à la carte options or prefer a buffet, the morning meal was both generous and delicious. The property is also strategically located, just a short distance from Chitwan National Park, making it a convenient base for wildlife adventures. A special shoutout to Roshan, his colleagues, and the management team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Their genuine smiles and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.” The other mischievous golden retriever was named Coco, which we overheard from the staff as it was always being called out to. One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered! It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home away from home.

If you’re looking for an authentic homestay, in the middle of rural Nepal where you can relax and enjoy Nepalese culture and food, then this is the perfect place. The family is kind and helpful, the food was absolutely delicious and the surroundings are beautiful. The rooms are spacious though not super luxurious (which is to be expected being this far from commercial touristic places to be fair). They also arranged a jungle safari for us! We loved our stay here!
