The Duke has a lovely majestic and colonial feel to it. Perfectly located in the Russell village, friendly staff and exceptionally clean. The cost to stay during winter was great too. Whether you are travelling solo or in a group for a special occasion I'm sure that you will enjoy your stay here. I will definitely be back.

Beautifully maintained colonial style villa accommodation on the outskirts of Kerikeri. Extremely clean and well maintained, exceptionally good value for money, set on peaceful and private grounds looking towards the township.

Location was great although quite a steep hill walk if you wanted to walk to and from the village. Lovely spacious and well appointed room.

The location is very good , walking distance from the sea waterfront where all the restaurants and bars are located . The breakfast was correct , we found everything in the room and the refrigerator . We had breakfast in the terrace just out of our room, it was great ! Mrs Sue , the owner of Villa Russel is a very nice lady and help us a lot giving very interesting suggestions .

Good location within easy flat walking distance of shops, restaurants and passenger ferry in the lovely seaside village of Paihia Owner was friendly and welcoming. Did have a slightly old-fashioned feel but clean, comfortable and had all we needed for a three night stay

Close to the village, quick 5 minute walk to restaurants supermarkets etc. Great setting in amongst the bush.

The location was stunning. The views were absolutely beautiful. People traveling to this property need to be aware that to get to the holiday home, that the drive way is very steep and our car had trouble to make its way to the top as the road was a bit slippery.
