Rebuilt in 2014, Quest on Thorndon offers art deco-style apartments with free WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests receive free access to the CityFitness gym located next to the property. I got lost because I couldn't use Wi-Fi. Also, the road was under construction, which made it difficult to find my way. There was a laundry in the room which was very helpful. I was happy that the drinks were plentiful.

Birdsong Cottage blew me out of the water -- it's gorgeous, calming, immaculate and the hosts, Susan and Gavin, go above and beyond in ways that make you feel more like whānau than guests. The cottage is very pretty, clean and extremely comfortable with much evidence of attention to detail. I asked if I could check in earlier since I was checking out of a previous lodging at 10am and Susan was truly accomodating although it was a big ask. I took advantage of the property's stunning aesthetic with photos galore and spent most of the time on the porch with wine or coffee. I am a big Tūī fan, so it was an absolute dream and the hosts are mindful to make sure that birding is optimal on the property. At their kind insistence, Susan offered me fresh eggs and Gavin drove me to the Paraparaumu airport. Stunning experience, I cannot recommend it enough.

The Greytown Loft está en Greytown y ofrece bicicletas gratis, jardín y terraza. Fabulous cherry thought of everything one might need with lovely touches like flowers in the bathroom. So convenient for Greytown and access around.

The apartment was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The hosts went an extra mile and provided us with wonderful granola (looked and tasted home made) and cookes. The town of Greytown itself surprised us, full of lovely boutiques and good food. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations.
