Richar and his family definitely bring peace into their space. He walked with us to the significant pachamama and pachatata and explained the culture behind. His wife cooked amazing food, love especially their soup and trout!! His daughter taught us to make simple bracelets that was really fun and beautiful to have something handmade to bring home. The room is very quiet, clean and comfortable. I slept very well 2 nights. Always hot water for tea and coffee. Hot shower is hot! View is spectacular. I do recommend staying at least 2 nights to feel the tranquility and peace on the island.

We were very well looked after and enjoyed the tour around the islands and the fishing trip with Isaac, all included in the price. The breakfast was good and the evening meal well prepared for a very reasonable price. Very comfortable room with a great view. We spent 3 days in Puno and visited the uros islands again as part of another trip, this showed us only the tourist view of life here, staying with Gladys and Isaac gave us a real view of life in this truly unique place.

They even came out to meet me and carry my bags when Peru Hop dropped me off.
