I would recommend staying for a long time if you can afford it. My Thai girlfriend doesn't like to walk, but I do, and I would totally have walked to the old town if it weren't for her.

This is such a lovely homely place to stay - all the practical things that you could need plus such sweet hosts. It is highly recommended to stay here because the home is private and well organised, with caring hosts. It was easy to communicate before and during my stay. I received a nice welcome from the hosts and felt at home immediately. They were kind enough to offer me a lift in their car to go into the town and to catch the small bus to Chiang Mai which goes from the museum near the main temple. Although it is also possible to walk to the centre as it is about 1km over the bridge. The room is exactly as the pictures, all immaculately clean and well prepared. The bed and pillows are comfortable. There is soap and shampoo in the bathroom and in the little kitchen. I liked sitting outside at the table with the views of the coconut palms and other trees. I was only able to stay one night as I had already booked more accommodation to go to. But I would love to return to this cute place for its tranquility and the hosts who treated me with so much care, just like a daughter! Thank you both for a happy and memorable stay in Lamphun.

Beautifully cooked and well presented . It was the same the next day . Excellent service . . I recommend this guest house as the attention to detail is very good . 5 star all round and excellent value

The accommodation is simple and has all the essentials and necessities but the view you will have you will never forget: opening the curtains in the morning and seeing the sunrise ON the rice fields is something that happens very rarely. A separate note for the hosts. In a previous review, someone described the experience of this place as going to their grandparents' house: nothing could be truer. The genuine warmth and care they will have for you (eg: breakfast is a REAL EXPERIENCE) will make you feel like part of a family. If you decide to stop by Lamphun (authentically beautiful) I warmly recommend that you stay here.

El lugar es difícil de definir, lo regenta un matrimonio que ha montado cuatro cabañas/tiendas de campaña y las alquilan por un buen precio. No esperes lujos, pero tiene todo lo necesario para descansar unos días y poder conocer esa parte de Lamphun. Está en una zona tranquila, justo al lado de un río por el que puedes pasear, pero también puedes encontrar varios templos cerca y varios restaurantes y bares. Dentro del mismo espacio también tienen un pequeño restaurante con unas hamburguesas muy buenas que la mujer prepara con cariño. Los dueños son amorosos y amables, y se esfuerzan por hacerte sentir lo mejor posible. Si vuelvo a Lamphun repetiré seguro. Gracias!

Baangaimuan está en Lamphun, a 22 km de Grand Canyon Chiang Mai y a 29 km de Central Plaza Chiang Mai Airport. Ofrece bicicletas gratis, jardín y wifi gratis. The service exceeded expectations. The location was so quiet and peaceful. We knew that breakfast was included, I usually I don't go for the breakfast option but everything was so fresh, it was a 3 coarse meal we would get for breakfast we wouldn't need to eat again till late afternoon. You can see how much care and thought was put into the place. It was more than worth the money. I would recommend this to someone who wants a quiet retreat getaway. It's not too far from Lamphun city but honestly, when we got there we thought there was no need to go too far we had everything we needed there. Also, there was a little outdoor bath, bring a swimsuit because it is out in the open. Grab and Foodpanda was easily accessible. There is also geese and chickens on the ground. There's also bicycles we could use if we wanted to. Definately will be going back and recommending to everyone!

Excellent location, very well-placed for enjoying Lamphun's Loy Krathong celebration. The owner was quite easy to contact, friendly & polite. Our children enjoyed the space of the house and some toys/games which had been left downstairs.
