So incredible to leave by camel from the hotel into the desert. A car (we had two wheel drive no problem to get here) is probably essential since town is 12-15 minutes driving. The sunset from the upper patio is beautiful over the date palms. Stay here.

He went to meet me when I got lost. He was very helpful and accommodating. The venue was just as advertised and my family enjoyed it. The camel ride they helped setup was fun.

Camp Mars ligt in Timbaine en beschikt over traditionele tenten met uitzicht op de duinen. Het biedt rondleidingen en begeleide excursies door de woestijn. What an amazing adventure. We were picked up by a driver provided by Camp Mars from a hotel in Tozeur, where we could leave our rental car. You drive almost 3 hours deep into the Sahara and there it is. A large tent where you will be served dinner and breakfast and several tents to sleep in. Our tent had two beds and its own bathroom. However, we used the shared bathrooms, since they had flushing toilets and running water. In the tents you have to make do with very limited water. The dinner was great, the staff were friendly but the location is absolutely unbeatable. This was our first time in the desert and the experience was unique. The dunes around the camp are stunning, the starry sky was absolutely incredible and just sitting in front of a fire in the middle of the desert was a unique experience. I cannot recommend it enough!

CAMP ABDELMOULA bevindt zich in Douz in de regio Kebili en biedt accommodatie met gratis privéparkeren. Bij de luxe tent zijn er een tuin en een terras. De locatie van het tentenkamp midden in de woestijn, de stilte, de natuur... alles was onbeschrijflijk. Het tentenkamp was van alle faciliteiten voorzien. Het was een ongelooflijke ervaring (brood bakken in het vuur, op woestijnduinen lopen). Het eten was ook heel lekker. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk. Mede dank aan onze chauffeur was het zo een onbeschrijflijke ervaring!
