Butiama Bustani Hotel tiene vistas al jardín y se encuentra en Kilindoni. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de traslado gratuito, bar, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. El personal es genial! Todos muy amables, hay mucha tranquilidad que es lo que necesitábamos después de estar en Zanzíbar. Tienen un perrito, Pablo, que es un amor, te acompaña pero no te acosa (y si no te gustan los perros tampoco se va contigo). El desayuno es muy completo y el resto de comidas también riquísimas y precios más que asequibles. Es ideal para hacer excursiones durante el día o medio día (nadar con tiburones ballena o hacer snorkel pero tienen muchas más actividades) y luego relajarse, del transporte se encargan ellos. Hay aire acondicionado lo que se agradece y puedes lavar la ropa sin costo adicional. Nosotros tenemos claro que de venir a Mafia de nuevo, repetimos.

An amazing little island with outstanding tree house accommodation. Eco tourism at its finest. Plenty of activities to keep you entertained. Perfect for winding down after doing safari. Definitely worth a visit. The owner has done so much to help the locals which was lovely to see.

Mafia Beach Bungalows sea view está en Utende y cuenta con vistas al mar, bicicletas gratis, jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y restaurante. El alojamiento dispone de bañera de hidromasaje. estuvimos en una época de poco turismo y estábamos solos en en hotel, aun así todo el personal estuvo 100% pendiente de nosotros y nos sentimos increíblemente bien atendidos, cada día desayunábamos en un sitio....playa, terraza, restaurante.... y cuando lo necesitábamos por excursiones, nos preparaban el desayuno para llevar :-) La ubicación es tremenda , justo en la playa :-) Y la comida muy rica :-) Todo genial!

Mgeni Homestay está a 7,2 km de Rufiji Mafia Kilwa Marine Reserve y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. Ally is the perfect host, very kind, helpful and responsive. He organized for a tuk tuk to pick us up at the airport on arrival and he called one for us anytime that we needed it. He’s also very helpful to organize tours and activities. Location is great, outside of the marine park area so there’s no tax to pay everyday and it’s where locals live. Close to the beach and a few min of tuk tuk to the airport area where there are a few nice places to eat, it’s also possible to go there walking, which we did every time, you just need the torch. Also not far away from the marine park by tuk tuk. Room is basic but exactly as in the pictures, pretty spacious and clean. There is no hot water but that honestly is not a problem at all considering the temperatures, besides, I think this is the same in pretty much the whole island. Breakfast is good and they are also very flexible on the time if asked. Value for money is great so overall it’s the perfect place to explore Mafia on a budget. Hope to come back. Asante sana!
