De grote kamer is erg mooi ingericht, en ruim. Zeer goed schoongemaakt. Uitzicht bij de klif met de stoelen is een ware grote plus. Ga je als gezin, dan zijn de kamers niet naast elkaar, maar wel vlakbij elkaar, kan met kleine kinderen lastig zijn.

The property is absolutely wonderful. Nice, natural landscaping that let's you feel immersed in the Hawaiian rainforest. Feels very secluded and private, while also feeling safe and welcoming. Its walking distance to a black sand, clothing optional, beach. I will definitely book here again when visiting the Big Island. I would feel safe here as a solo traveler. Stephen greeted us when we arrived to the property and was so welcoming. I immediately felt at ease in his presence. He gave us a tour and showed us to our rooms, let us know how to reach him if we needed anything. Our smoke alarm was going off one night and he came right over, checked it out and swapped the battery, fixing the problem. I traveled with a friend and we each had separate rooms. The house feels more home like, relaxing front porch, solid wood furniture, and everything you'd need. Both rooms were clean and beds comfortable. At first, I thought my bed may be too soft, but I slept SO good and woke with no pains, feeling refreshed, so it must have been just right. Bath and beach towels were in our rooms, a bathrobe, a list of hosted and local activities we may be interested in, and a little bowl of snacks too. I also appreciated they had sunscreen and bug spray available.

Kona Magic Honu Room ligt in Kailua-Kona, op 2 minuten lopen van White Sands Beach Park en 14 km van Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park. Het was een fijne host. Je zit vlakbij een prachtig strand waar je heerlijk zonsondergang kan kijken. Het is 10 min van het centrum af en dichtbij stranden, dat vonden wij heel fijn.

Honestly, we didn’t want to leave this place, it felt like home from the moment we arrived. The room is huge, with plenty of space and a cozy living area where you can truly relax. Everything was immaculate. The property is beautifully maintained, with a pool and a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a peaceful breakfast. We didn’t have much time to get to know the owners since they were out of town for most of our stay, but the few interactions we had were warm and friendly. The location is perfect. The property is in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just 10–15 minutes from downtown Hilo. At first, we were unsure about not being right in the city center, but honestly, you wouldn’t want to be once you see this place. It offers the best of both worlds: tranquility and easy access to town.

Volcano Eco Cabin & Eco Lodge bevindt zich in Volcano in de regio Hawaii Island en biedt accommodatie met gratis WiFi en gratis privéparkeren. Location is something special, in a real forest, among trees and birds of any kinds. It’s really a bit magic. Owners very friendly. Got some fresh brewed coffee in the morning which was available in the house.

Hilo Bay Oceanfront Bed and Breakfast bevindt zich in Hilo in de regio Hawaii Island, op 8 minuten lopen van The Pacific Tsunami Museum en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis... The location was great, it’s close to the centre but you’re far away that you can also enjoy the silence of the sea. I also LOVED the fact you can see sunrise from the dining room 😍😍 and everyone working there are really friendly and helpful!
