What we also noticed was that all light switches in the room were marked with stickers in English. That was great, so we knew exactly which switch was intended for what. The mattress is hard, which we like very much and the nights were, except for a very noisy arrival, very quiet. We found the owner particularly wonderful. Although she hardly spoke English, we were able to arrange our onward transport with her with the help of the translator app. In addition, an English-speaking friend of hers came to help, who gave us a piece of paper with instructions for the bus drivers. The two ladies were so helpful and we are very grateful for that.
