My stay here was totally satisfying! The whole accommodation was super clean, which made me feel really comfortable throughout my trip. The kitchen had all the useful appliances I needed—dishwasher, fridge, microwave and stovetop—so it was super convenient to fix simple meals. Check-in was fully self-service, no need to wait around, which gave me a lot of freedom. One big plus: if you stay for 3 consecutive days, you can apply to the tourism bureau for reimbursement of your round-trip ticket costs. Highly recommend!

This is a beautiful little cabin with stunning views. It was near to Appenzell and Gais. There’s a bit of a walk steep and upwards after you park up, only a minute or so, but just make sure you bring good shoes. Our children loved it, especially the sheep. Highly recommended

Esther is an excellent host who welcomes us warmly and introduces the apartment in details. Welcome drink and snacks are nice. Well-appointed and really spotless apartment with everything neatly set. Nice garden with a clean swimming pool. Greenly country view. Very quiet at night. We also visited the deer farm and my daughters liked it very much. Thank you Esther. Highly recommended. A really relaxing environment that provides all we need for our short stay.

Ideal location, not too far from the train station. We started all of our walks from the hotel which was very convenient. Beautiful views from our room. The owners were very polite and friendly. Our breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal there also. We will definitely return.

Affordable option in the Appenzell area to access key hikes (Hoher Kasten, Saxer Lücke, Schäfler, Ascher etc). Included breakfast was great and included bread rolls, spreads, ham and cheese, yoghurt, cereal, fruit and coffee. Whole place was very clean and lovely staff.
