Absolutely perfect stay! The scenery is breathtaking, the beach is pristine, and the amenities are top. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always going above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The food at the restaurant is delicious. It's surrounded by nature. Very nice view from the room. 10 to 15 minutes walk from Playa Los Cocos, a beautiful beach, but be careful, the waves are sometimes big and strong. The breakfast was so good, we took the pancakes every morning. The staff is very friendly, very helpful and always smiling. The receptionist helped us with information on how to come from Santa Marta airport and booked a bus for us from this place to Cartagena. You can refill your bottle of water. It's 10 minutes by bus from Tayrona national park.

A great retreat, so relaxing and exicting. A great place to explore Tayrona, but also Villa Maria is so good you might just want to stay in the pool area or look at the jungle and gently swing the hammock on your private balcony. The beach near by is not a swimming beach, but it’s a really lovely walk, with jungle on one side - and the eternal ocean on the other.

The best part of the place is the amazing view. The ocean breezes keep the balcony and cabana cool if you want to open it up for the fresh air. The way it is positioned you don't get hit by the afternoon sun directly so it's a really nice spot to relax. Additionally, the cabana has a lot of small touches and finishing that make it feel really elegant. They didn't just throw together a cabana but you can see the really put time into making it nice.

Maria is one of the best hosts we have ever met. She is very kind, too informative and helpful. Her hotel is very clean, comfortable and the location is fantastic as it’s too close to the Tayrona National Park entrance. Thanks to her, she even planned one of our days around the park. Last but not least, the water is provided to the guests for free which is very rare in the entire country. Even this shows me how mindful Maria is.
