The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. There was lots of space and all of the rooms were very comfortable. Caroline is a wonderful host. It was nice to be able to walk into Meymac for food and drinks.

This is an exceptional property in a beautiful, very quiet location and with great service. We discovered a beautifully restored mansion, with large rooms, tastefully decorated in terms of colors, furniture and decoration. It was a real pleasure to be in the house and discover the many corners of the great care that has been taken to restore the house. The rooms are very spacious, very clean and the beds are really comfortable! This is such a nice treat after a long trip. The house is located on a large property with beautiful old trees that add to the ambiance. We also really liked their catering concept: The kitchen is open to guests all day and you can take a coffee or tea if you need it. In the mornings, a generous buffet is prepared there and a very friendly staff member asks if you would like to have dinner served. Dinner is prepared elsewhere and delivered in the evening. We were very pleased with the food. This is one of the few places on our trip where our dietary needs were well taken care of! Thank you to the team for accommodating our needs. It was an added bonus for us. We recommend this place especially for couples who like to be in nature and enjoy a quiet place.

Temp dropped and the fire had been lit. Marie, perfect host, showed us around. Lovely cottage with an added glass sun room. Fantastic bath. Comfy bed, everything we could need was provided. 10+10 stay.

The auberge provides everything you need when travelling and the rooms etc have been recently constructed to a very good standard. Breakfast was not provided but croissants etc were obtained from a nearby patisserie to accompany coffee provided in the restaurant adjoining the auberge. Saint Angel was good for an evening stroll.

Good location. I’ve choosen it because it’s not far away from our main route and that it has a restaurant. It was so nice and quite, no problem to sleep. The welcome was very warm, relaxed and friendly. The room and bathroom are huge!!! Very clean, comfortable and well equipped...and the modern very efficient air-conditioning was so welcome as it was very hot! It is in a very quiet residential area...very peaceful. Our hosts reccomended several local restaurants in nearby Ussel for our evening meal, we chose Café Ventadour in the old square, and had an excellent meal in a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
