We were so happy to stay at your apartment! The location is great, and the place itself was amazing. Flat was superb clean and had everything you needed from the iron and hairdryer to kitchen utensils. 6 is so cozy and nice. I would highly recommend it to everyone who wants to visit Canterbury.

Hugh and Sarah gave us a very warm welcome and it felt like home away from home. Peaceful surroundings, comfy bed, great selection for breakfast plus delicious home made sausage rolls and cake to take with us for morning tea on our departure. Hugh and Sarah also helped us plan some of our trip ahead! We would have loved to spend a bit more time there....highly recommended 😀 👌

Everything was wonderful, the welcome, accommodation, service. The place is great, very beautiful and maintained by the hosts, wonderful people. The room was warm, clean and cozy. The place is very close to beaches and shopping area by car. Thank you for a pleasant stay, we will be back again. :)

Deborah was amazing, and nothing was too much trouble. The annex is lovely, and the view of the garden is fabulous. We were watching the rabbits play just before dusk. Couldn't recommend it more.

There's almost too much to list. The atmosphere was magic, like stepping back in time but in the most mesmerising way. We had such fun together looking at all of the wonderfully put together ornaments and features inside the cabin, some very beautiful and interesting objects to take in. The Cabin itself just emanates warmth and love, it's been beautifully constructed with repurposed materials that have been carefully restored to make a very sturdy, functional space ideal for a quiet couples getaway. The kitchen was very well equipped but small and cosy enough to almost feel like you were at home and intuitively knew where things were. The bed was very comfortable, quite a snug little space so if you don't feel the need for lots of excess room and prioritise an almost adventurous, hideaway type feeling then it's perfect. We both slept very well and thoroughly enjoyed the patter of rain on the window in the morning. The view from the cabin from any angle is really special, care has been taken to craft a cottage style garden with part dedicated to growing vegetables, which we were kindly offered. Despite being late summer there was a surprising amount of blooms. The sauna was very pleasing and so was the jacuzzi, both private and we noted how even the lighting in the jacuzzi area has been given thought. Karen and Alan are incredible hosts and you'd be a fool not to stay there at least once. It will be hard to top our stay there, I only wish I had booked another night!!

    Everything about Gingerbread Cottage was immaculate. Superbly fitted out, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean. We were surprised (& delighted) to find we had been left a wonderful welcome pack, delicious brownies, bottle of wine, crisps, milk etc. The location is ideal, a very quiet street with good footpath access to the city and easy walking to shops and cafes in St Dunstans. Altogether would highly recommend.

    The Hotel was located in an ideal location in the grounds of the beautiful Canterbury Cathedral. Included in the room rate was free entry into the Cathedral. All the staff were very polite, friendly and courteous. The room although on the small side was very clean withy a good view. The breakfast menu was extensive and very nice and for the first time i found a hotel that knew how to prepare scrambled eggs well.

    A great central location, close to shops and bars and a very short walk to Canterbury cathedral. The reception staff were very helpful and took their time to explain everything. They were very professional when dealing with my complaint over the housekeeping. The hotel was very clean and tidy, a good priced bar and an excellent all you can eat buffet breakfast. Lots of choice and fresh hot items added all the time. An extra bonus was the waffle maker!.

    Fantastic location, right in the heart of Canterbury. we always stay here when we visit our son in Kent. Rooms are spotless, staff always friendly and can’t complain about the breakfast which is just right. The only thing I would say is request a room away from the bar that is right next door, as they play their music loud and you can hear it from some rooms. You pay more that some budget hotels, but then a lot less than other hotels, so worth the price,
