Super nice people — it’s not our first time here, and we absolutely love it. The breakfast is amazing. Cookies, cocoa, and milk are available anytime. The nature around is beautiful — simply fantastic. Maybe the view from our room this time wasn’t quite what we expected, but we’re still really happy here. Feels truly English. We selected The Running Horses for our stay primarily because of its long history--over 400 years--as an inn. It was a great experience from start to finish. The facility was wonderful, authentic, and run like clockwork. It was only on our last day that we learned the inn is the 2023 winner of the National Pub & Bar of the Year Awards, and it shows from the professional staff, to the delicious and locally-sourced food and drink, and especially the welcoming atmosphere. Hopefully, we can return for another visit!

Everything! De room is very clean, it is spacious and you have a private bathroom. The lady is extremly nice and welcoming. Nothing is to much and you can use the kitchen also if you like. Even she had some breakfast for us! When you have a nice click with here you can have a lovely funny evening with a good talk and a good wine. When we travel again to Gatwick we will book this lovely room again for sure!
