As soon as we arrived, Paul & Kay, our hosts, made us feel very welcome. Their guest house is beautiful and relaxing, and the attention to detail is amazing. The bed and pillows (you get a choice) are super comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent! The guest house is close to pubs, small eateries and walking trails, and the iconic Ironbridge Gorge. Paul & Kay also shared many other things to see and do nearby. We do highly recommend The Viaduct Guest House.

Where to start here, we had a booking for a lodge in another area that cancelled on us with less than 48 hours notice. This is how we stumbled across Squirrel pod, we called and spoke with Helen (host) who was extremely understanding to our situation and moved things around to enable us to stay at their site. Upon arrival we were met by Jamie (host) who took us to our pod and explained everything and gave advice on places to visit. The pod exceeded our expectations, well equipped, clean, cosy, with exceptional views. Our weekend away was amazing thanks to our super hosts and beautiful location, we are already looking at making our next booking here. I can not recommend this site highly enough. Many thanks to Helen and Jamie, we will see you again soon.

What a brilliant place! Peaceful, very comfortable and lovely surroundings. We loved watching the squirrels and birds outside our cottage. Facilities are excellent, especially the washing machine for travellers. The Hosts Chris and Maggie are very caring in providing lots of extras to make the stay just perfect. It was a good base from which to explore the surrounding towns and countryside and enjoy the beautiful and tranquil garden and trees that surrounded the Woodcarvers Cottage. We would love to return to this unique property one day. It has been the highlight of our 10 week tour of the U.K.
