Our stay was very special here so we spent an extra night in Ushguli! The location is perfect, the vegan dinner and breakfast was tasty and very creative. Rooms and common spaces are feels like home but the biggest benefit is the host lady! She is very a kind person with huge heart. We had nice talks and I felt real and deep connection between us! We had a great stay at Babi and Tata's Guest House. The beds were comfortable, the shared bathroom was clean and there was hot water. The teenage girls (Babi and Tata) spoke english, which was very helpful. It was great to be able to order breakfast and dinner. The value for the money is excellent.

The atmosphere was very relaxed and the family extremely friendly and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were BY FAR THE BEST we had on our 4-day hike. They arranged reasonably priced horse riding to the glacier and a car back to Mestia. Comes highly recommended! 🥰

Probably one of the best overnight stays we had on our whole tour!! The owners don’t talk English, but we still spent a lot of our time with them and you learn to communicate without talking! The cooking is also very nice, Ia is very talented and is making very good (and a lot) of food! They make their own Sulguni, which was beyond tasty! Be aware of the wine and Cha-Cha, very delicious! You will have a dreamful view if you sit in front of the house over Ushguli. They even organized a transportation back to Mestia for us, for a very fair price! Thank you so much for this very special and Georgian experience and for the warm welcome you are giving your Guests!

Great place to stay in Ushguli, delicious breakfasts, of course with warm khachapuri. Great location with a wonderful view of Ushguli and Sahkhra Glacier. Very comfortable beds in which we slept very well. The owner Maya was very helpful, she quickly arranged a cheaper transport to Mestia for us when we found out that our driver was not coming. I highly recommend :)

The location of the guesthouse was great, the family very nice and the facilities very clean. You can eat very delicious food in their Restaurant Stumari. They organized a taxi back to Mestia together with other guests. In the end it was as expensive as taking the marshrutka. For us it was perfect, since we ran out of cash (there is no bank or ATM in Ushguli) and we could pay them when we arrived in Mestia.
