Top-notch apartment! High standard furnishings throughout the apartment and extremely spacious with balcony looking out to the ocean. Overall, good value for money and I’m really impressed with the attention to detail and cleanliness, feels like an apartment you’ll find in the most desired areas in the western world. Perfect throughout. Even better than what one can expect from the pictures. Delayed arrival from Dakar (turned out to be over 5 hours with very poor information), and the driver was waiting for us at the airport. Arrived close to midnight at the hotel and we were still welcomed by several staff 😀. Excellent setting for breakfast (which was very very nice), relaxing, and enjoying sunsets over Banjul. Urban arranged access to car and driver whenever needed. As such we could explore the area, visit beaches and restaurants. Departure from Rooftop was at 4 AM in the morning. Again, there is no problem at all for Urban and his team. So happy we opted for this boutique hotel over one of the nearby beach resorts. As Urban has an agreement with one of them, his guests can use the facilities anyhow. Perfect again! Overall, a very enjoyable place and very likely the best option for a stay in The Gambia 🇬🇲.

    The staff is kind and helpful. You can have a direct, almost friendly - family relationship with them. I gladly used public transport because it is much cheaper, and they were always able to help me get from A to B. You can also exchange money, at a completely correct bank exchange rate. Although I did not cook for myself - there is an opportunity to do so in the shared kitchen. The small lap pool is also nice if you don't want to go to the beach.
