We had a great stay at Bien Dormir House. Right from the start, Komang and his family were super friendly and always ready to help with anything, whether it’s tips for exploring Sidemen, arranging transport, or just making sure you feel at home. The bungalows have a comfy bed and a beautiful bathroom with a shower that connects you to nature. It’s easy to get around for day trips and visits in the Sidemen area. A lovely, green and serene private island between two rivers. The room was spotless and comfortable. The owner was incredibly kind to us and sweet. If you want to chill, do yoga, meditate, and be surrounded by beautiful nature, flowers and batteries surely choose this property. Thing to consider that the location is a bit remote and the road is challenging, steep and a bit bumpy in the end, however, it was ok from our taxi drivers.

Incredibly nice place to stay. It is in a very quite location, but the river gives this peaceful action and it is always awesome to spend time near or in the pool. The street nearby is not busy and it didn't bother us at all. It is better to have a scooter to reach nearby restaurants and rice fields. Host rented a scooter for us for a very good price.

It's amazing place to stay in Sidemen. Probably the cleanest place we stayed in Bali. It's private area with 2 villas with pool and lovely garden full of butterflies and birds. Owner is very kind, friendly, helpful,... we felt like part of his family. We wish we could spend more time here. Let's hope there no overturism in Sidemen.

This was one of the best accommodation experiences I have ever had. As a solo traveller, I have never felt more welcomed or looked after. Made and Putu are the perfect hosts and the warmest Indonesians I have met. Despite us speaking two different languages, we conversed, and laughed, and they looked after me. Putu is a phenomenal cook and I felt right at home. The room is within their property yet private and entirely self-contained. If you want alone time, you can have it. Equally, if you want to immerse yourself with the family, there is a small outdoor kitchen dining area. The room itself was uncluttered, modern and pristinely clean (and I’m picky!). The sheets and linen were fresh and the bathroom was also modern and super clean. The shower was better and more consistent in pressure and temperature than the four star resort I’ve just come from and paid triple the cost for in Ubud. Sidemen is a magical village and the Bali I always dreamed of experiencing. Made Putu is in the perfect spot, right between the village and market and the new cafes and villas. They let me borrow their scooter but it’s no more than a 15 minute walk in either direction to get to the village markets, or the newer cafes. I will be back in July….. I just wish I stayed longer! If you want to experience authentic Bali, this is exactly where you need to book. Terimakasih! ❤️❤️

very friendly and kind people, they are pleased to help you if you need any suggestion (e.g. scooter rental) excellent breakfast (with fresh yummy fruits) that we had in the terrace outside our room. you can easily walk to the main road where you can find restaurants and some shops. they have also a small shop with souvenirs and offer massages. quiet and beautiful area, less traffic and good streets for riding scooter and explore around.
