The staff were excellent from the courtesy bus driver to the server.my site and itself have been staying at The Carlton for at least 25 years The latest changes are very noticeable in-the main lobby ,the bedroom the staff training ,food helping more than generous and good quality at a reasonable price.We travel to the U.S. twice each year and would recommend The Carlton to any of our friends. The property is located on the Northern side of the river with a quick to the centre of town. Top end facilities. Luxurious, spacious bedrooms, large living & kitchen area. On site parking is available. We arrived at 11am knowing that check in was 3pm. The staff offered to look after our bags & allowed access to their Carpark so we could start exploring town. We were delighted when the staff suggested we get settled in our apartment as it was service & available. We received complimentary chocolates, mineral water & a bottle of white wine which was a nice touch. The apartment exceeded our expectations from the marketing information.

- The host was amazing, truly one of the nicest people I've ever met. He gave me a lot of tips on how to get to the airport the next day and made sure I was able to get on the right bus. He also gave a few info about the area (where to get groceries, transport, etc.). - The room was lovely, very clean and spacey. The bathroom had all the amenities someone would need. Furthermore, the shower was designed to allow people to sit in it (definitely useful for elderly people). The room also included fresh water, snacks, tea, coffee and a boiler.

We spent the first night of our stay in Ireland in this wonderful place — and it was definitely the best time! If I could, I would rate it higher than 10. The room was beautifully decorated (stylish and well-kept), with crystal tableware. The bathroom was comfortable, with very high-quality cosmetics. But what truly makes this place so charming are the exceptionally welcoming and caring hosts. Thank you so much for making us feel so warmly received — as if we weren’t strangers at all. Thank you for your attention, the conversation, the delicious breakfast, and the honest, homely atmosphere. We only regret that we couldn’t stay again. But we will be back!

We chose this hotel for the location: Access from and to the Dublin and for the price. The facilities and room were excellent. The room was bigger that we expected and it was very clean. It was very comfy and the room temperature was ideal. Staff were nice and friendly, breakfast was buffet type, with a good price and decent food selection. I'll totally book this hotel again in case I need to do a layover. Totally recommended!

The location is ideal for anyone staying over for an early morning flight. The 24-hour airport shuttle is ideal, and the price we paid of €116 per night was excellent considering the prices/availability of hotels at the minute. The food in the bar was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff were exceptional. The rooms were large and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great sleep although short due to the very early start for a 6am flight. We would definitely stay here again.
