New ZealandA fantastic hostel in a great location. We were in room 12 which was a double with bathroom and a view of the mountains. There were great facilities including a sauna and we were able to stay until the boat left despite having checked out. We thought it was the best hostel we have stayed in. We would definitely stay again if we came back to Seydisfjordur. Thank you to the owners and staff.

NetherlandsThis place really has it all! It is better than the pictures. On a small peninsula in the fjord you are surrounded by beautiful views of the sea, the mountains, the village and the fishing boats. The cabins are spacious, comfortable, cosy and fully equipped. It has a nice hottub amidst the wonderful scenery. It offers free of charge laundry service (which is very uncommon in Iceland). Only a minute away from the cabins there is a great restaurant with local delicacies in an old traditional fisherman’s shed of which the upper floor is untouched since the 1930s and which you can visit. The village is also nice and has playgrounds, a pool etc. for children to enjoy. Even the polar foxes liked the place as we caught one wondering around the premises ;).

Perfect location, like the end of the world. Stunning views. The apartment was equipped best in class, even the candles :) the hot tub was a great addition. It was super clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable. It was the best stay I had in Iceland.

Super comfortable cottage in a stunning location. The kitchen is well stocked and has a great little stove with oven, the space is compact but well designed and the hot tub on the deck is the icing on the cake. We watched whales and seals in the fjord as we soaked in the hot water. The drive into the fjord is not for the faint of heart, but when you get there you are rewarded with one of the most beautiful views in the country.
