This was by far the best stay I’ve had in Sri Lanka, and I truly wish I had stayed longer! The hostel is tucked away in a quiet, green area just outside the centre, the travel to the hostel is peaceful and extremely scenic. The place itself is beautiful, homely, and welcoming, and the host and their family are incredibly kind and helpful, making me feel immediately comfortable as a solo traveller. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the common areas are relaxing and charming. Breakfast and dinner were affordable, tasty, and filling. With the host’s guidance, I easily explored the stupas by push bike and never felt rushed or out of place. Whether you’re travelling solo or in a group, I can’t recommend this hostel enough—it’s warm, accommodating, and an unforgettable experience.

Absolutely beautiful room, very new, the most comfortable bed we’ve had in Sri Lanka The location is perfect for visiting the historical sites and extremely beautiful and peaceful surroundings The staff and food were excellent, we stayed an extra night as we loved it . There are only three rooms so we felt very well cared for, nothing was too much trouble and they arranged a scooter for us and transport to our next stop. Highly recommended

You could get the real feeling of a Tree House and jungle experience by singing birds. The verity of butterflies are very beautiful. The breakfast was delicious too. Very comfortable stay. You can play badminton and archery and there are plenty of space you to clam down and relax your mind. Staff was friendly and helpful. Defiantly recommended.

It is a beautiful new property just off the main road. Large beautiful rooms and bathrooms! Huge terrace on top which is available to everyone. Abundant breakfast! But most of all the owners are amazing! They treat you like one of the family and nothing is too much trouble! This place is one of the top places in which we stayed in Sri Lanka! Perfect base for exploring ancient Anuradhapura. The accommodation is very clean and modern, it's a lovely and peaceful spot. Breakfast was really good and our host was exceptionally nice and helpful. We had a really good rest and got all the help and advice for our time in Anuradhapura (and two bicycles which are actually perfect for getting around the ancient sites and temples). Can't recommend this place enough, we'd come back any time!

We spent two nights in Anuradhapura and had the best time. Sapumal Lodge helped us book a day tour with a guide to see both the old and the new city. The guide provided us with a lot of information. We had the best day! The room was very clean and neat. The hotel let us use the washing and drying machine for free, which was really convenient. We definitely recommend this place!
