If we had not already planned our next hotel (road trip) we wouldhave stayed longer!. It‘s a little oasis, with so much kind attentive staff and amazing food, and incredibly clean pool. But the room really blew us away😍 we did not expect the rainfall semi-„outdoor“ shower, this was a beautiful suprise. The beds were very comfortable! Everything was so clean in the room and it smelled amazing. I wish we couldhave stayed longer.

Fantastic place - with an exceptionally friendly staff. The service level was far higher than expected, and in a very welcoming manner. We loved Channa Villa and Bentota so much we booked an extra night, if we'd know we would have spent less time in Mirissa and more time here. The standard of accommodation was the best we had stayed in through out the whole of our trip to Sri Lanka. The rooms were a good size, beds were comfortable, with soft pillows and clean linin. We had a fridge in our room and the use of a shared kitchen which was spotless and we were able to make our own tea and even make our own toast for breakfast as we had bought bread from the local supermarket. Close to the railway line, but you could hardly hear the trains from our room, a short 5 minute walk to the beach, which was the best beach by far. Plus close to a few restaurants dotted along the railway track. And of course friendly staff

    If you're looking for a hotel Sri Lanka for some rest and relaxation, Villa Thamburu is ideal! The location is great offering easy access to a lovely, quiet beach. The staff great too. All were incredibly polite, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile for us. The food was also a highlight. I can't imagine anywhere else in Bentota could match it. The hotel itself was beautiful too!

    Prianthi and Raj were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the location so close to the beach, a few restaurants (Happy Garden!) and the train station was ideal. And the breakfast was really lovely. I'd definitely recommend the place.
