We had such a great time and highly recommend Amaroo. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was welcoming and polite. Amaroo is right by a surf spot and we enjoyed a surf lesson with skilled instructors - our surfing improved after just one lesson.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing, helpful, kind and caring. The room was the most beautiful and comfortable room we’ve slept in during our entire stay in Sri Lanka. The location was just as great. At walking distance from the beach, but far enough from the main road to have some peace and quiet. We also loved the breakfast.

Location is perfect. The only hotel in the beach, there is no one a couple of kilometers each side. For comparison, if you go to Unawatuna you will see the difference, the very negative one. Service. The staff is very nice. Restaurant food is gorgeous. Have compared it with the best restaurants in Galle. Beach and view from the balcony are very nice.

Welcoming, Great vibes. Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights or even weeks. Situated 2km away from the beach is the perfect location to chill and explore the surroundings. The hostel is in front of a beautiful lake where you can take a kayak or a small boat and navigate the water. The structure has a beautiful kitchen where you can prepare your meals and the spacious single rooms are ideal for a nice rest.
