We had the best stay at Maritime Nest Cabanas ! I really recommend staying there if you want to be close to Tangalle and the beaches nearby AND staying in a super peaceful and incredibly beautiful environment, close to the lagoon. The cabanas are beautiful with a super nice terrace, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The pool and the common parts are beautiful too. All the staff members were lovely and very caring, answering our every needs, and helped us organising scooter rental and tours. + the breakfast is huuuuge & delicious, we also had one dinner at the restaurant, a big fresh fish, it was awesome. I obviously recommend 1000% !

A very lovely and peaceful stay in Tangalle. The family running the business is so kind, helpful and welcoming. Everything was perfect : location (very chill, outside of the city center, right next to 2 beautiful beaches), food (outstanding freshly cooked breakfasts available 🤤), very clean, new and nice rooms + beautiful pool. We definitely recommend to everyone we know for your stay in Tangalle and would be happy to come back one day 🇱🇰 Thank you for everything 🙏🏻, the dad even helped us and waited with us at the bus stop to make sure we get the right one for our following destination, it was very very kind! This has been the best Homestay I had in Sri Lanka so far. The level of hospitality, kindness and overall nice atmosphere, is unmatched. The location is perfect - very close to the center and beach, but hidden enough for you to feel comfortable. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. The breakfast with fresh fruit was also really good. The owners however are the main reason this place is so amazing - humble, kind, true and helpful. I only wish I stayed longer. Thank you very much!

The hotel is new, very nice and comfortable. Practically inside the oraia, but protected by vegetation, which does not ruin the harmony of the beach landscape. The owner of the hotel, an English gentleman, is very friendly and concerned about providing us with an excellent stay. The hotel staff is very friendly, the cocktails are very good and the hotel is quiet. But the best thing is the beach, huge, clean, beautiful, practically only for hotel guests

Amazing sweet little homestay pretty much on the beach. Very quiet and great restaurants nearby. Away from the tourists and really surrounded by nature. A hidden gem in an area that has yet to be ruined by tourism. We loved it!

Lovely place managed by a lovely family. Clean, nice room with balcony, AC and mosquito net. Nice and lush garden outside of our balcony. Amazing hosts that prepared for us a tasty dinner. Very close to Silent Beach which is beautiful. Highly recommended.
