We had the best stay at Maritime Nest Cabanas ! I really recommend staying there if you want to be close to Tangalle and the beaches nearby AND staying in a super peaceful and incredibly beautiful environment, close to the lagoon. The cabanas are beautiful with a super nice terrace, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The pool and the common parts are beautiful too. All the staff members were lovely and very caring, answering our every needs, and helped us organising scooter rental and tours. + the breakfast is huuuuge & delicious, we also had one dinner at the restaurant, a big fresh fish, it was awesome. I obviously recommend 1000% !

A very lovely and peaceful stay in Tangalle. The family running the business is so kind, helpful and welcoming. Everything was perfect : location (very chill, outside of the city center, right next to 2 beautiful beaches), food (outstanding freshly cooked breakfasts available 🤤), very clean, new and nice rooms + beautiful pool. We definitely recommend to everyone we know for your stay in Tangalle and would be happy to come back one day 🇱🇰 Thank you for everything 🙏🏻, the dad even helped us and waited with us at the bus stop to make sure we get the right one for our following destination, it was very very kind! Amazing sweet little homestay pretty much on the beach. Very quiet and great restaurants nearby. Away from the tourists and really surrounded by nature. A hidden gem in an area that has yet to be ruined by tourism. We loved it!

Lovely place managed by a lovely family. Clean, nice room with balcony, AC and mosquito net. Nice and lush garden outside of our balcony. Amazing hosts that prepared for us a tasty dinner. Very close to Silent Beach which is beautiful. Highly recommended.

You feel you are close to nature. Lodge feels new and fresh. Bathroom is nice, a European standard, so not common. But most of all owner and manager give each tourist attention and are open to help. We had a great dinner at the lodge, so it’s worth trying, owner is a man of many talents. Last but not least pool is well maintained and water felt great like silk. Beach is close by, waves were crashing hard but if you swim further it’s calm.

The hosts are absolutely lovely. They have a tuktuk, so you can be easily dropped off where you need to go, with better rates than PickMe. This was incredibly helpful, especially if you do the Rewaka turtle watch - they stayed the entire four hours waiting for us! (It is hard to know how long a turtle experience will take). We were grateful, because it was midnight by the time it finished, and may be difficult to get a tuktuk. They were very accommodating, and also took us into town when we asked the next day. The room is nice, and the shower is decent. Airconditioning and fan work well, and the breakfast is yum. The hostess is very welcoming. There is a lovely beach just across the road from the location. We brought our own snorkel gear and saw lots of fish! Most people go to the more popular beaches, so we had this beach to ourselves. Very clean, warm temperature, with clearer water than in Mirissa. The local fishermen were very helpful and showed us where to swim to best avoid the rocks. We were told by the hostess that two turtles like to frequent this beach, although we were not lucky enough to see them during our swim. Truly a very lovely stay.

Beautiful location, right on the beach front. Clean and a large cabana with a verandah. Friendly staff who all stayed up late to greet us and cook dinner. Fantastic breakfast on the deck overlooking the beach and the local fishing activities.

Everything was super, location is quiet, not to much tourist or overcrowd. The reception guy who meet us was super helpfull. Arenge as a lot off things like scooter and breakfast sandwich early in the morning before we leave to safari.
