We stayed one night at the Happy House with Supun. He is a very attentive and friendly host. Various interesting activities are offered. We chose the safari in Wasgamuwa National Park. Supun organised the safari for us and even came with us into the park. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to show us everything in detail. Highly recommended. The accommondation is very simple and does not offer much luxury. Getting there is an aventure. It is better to have Supun pick you up from the main road. In conclusion, we can say that the stay was a valuable experience and a beautiful part of our trip to Sri Lanka, as Supun gave us an insight to local life. We would choose the happy house again.

I really enjoyed my stay, the room and bathroom facilities were very very clean and we had a great balcony where we enjoyed breakfast and dinner. Homemade food was delicious, and we really felt welcome. We really appreciated the bike rent that is very convetient to go visit the sacred city from the home stay. Gorgeous location overlooking the lake and directly across the street from the archeology museum. Attentive service. Fantastic Sri Lankan curry served in an Inviting dining room. Gracious service. Expert management who helped us hire great tuk tuk driver with excellent English for a late afternoon tour after the crowds had gone. This hotel was the high point of our trip to Sri Lanka so far.

Very nice homestay in Polonnaruwa with a Great local breakfast. We had an AC Room which was very modern and extremely clean. Very affordable accomodation. The Host Aruna is so awesome and welcoming. He offered us bike rental for exploring the ancient City. Very Special Person and a nice Place to stay
