Laura and Ulises (and Chula, their dog) were amazing hosts, super accommodating and were very helpful when we had travel difficulties from Oaxaca. They have great contacts for experiences in the area, we recommend surfing! The hotel was beautiful, very clean and we loved the ‘guest house’ vibe and laid back nature. There are also beach chairs and umbrellas available for use which was really helpful in the heat. The location was great, near lots of restaurants and bars and just a short taxi ride to swimmable beaches. The pool and view of the beach and sunsets made for a perfect stay.

I felt like I was in a 5 star hotel, best sleep I’ve had in Mexico so far! Huge bed with comfortable mattress and had a mix of pillows (hard and soft). The rooftop terrace I only discovered on my last day but sat up there reading a book until my late bus to Oaxaca. They also have hammocks up there! Great for sunset. Yes, the location is a little bit far away from the busier beaches, but you can swim at the one nearby and also learn to surf there. It’s only 5-6 minutes walk away. There is a great bakery in the Main Street, and right next door THE BEST cafe in the whole of Puerto Es. and English speaking too with English menu too. The lady that runs that cafe is super sweet! As a sooo female traveller that’s not so much into the party scene, this was absolutely perfect. Could not fault it. Will stay again for sure!

    Fantastic location being near to la Punta, Ziccatella & Centro. Clean & air conditioned apartment with room being cleaned regularly and fresh towels. Tv with Netflix and other popular tv accounts for rainy days or when the sun gets too much! Property manager was extremely accommodating and responded immediately to any of our queries. The apartment is above a fantastic restaurant that serves up Mexican and European dishes at a great price. Very good for couples wanting their own space at an affordable price. We can’t wait to go back!!!

    The place was spotless, the bed was super comfy and Regina was always helpful if we needed anything. The location was good but you had to be healthy to climb the steep street twice a day to return home. However, a 50 pesos taxi is very affordable. The shared kitchen allowed us an opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world. It was a delightful one month stay.
