Amazing location, the cabins are facing the fjord, and you get a stunning view and quiet. The apartment includes two bedrooms and a huge living room / kitchen, all very well equipped. The check-in is very smooth. The staff are nice and helpful. I really wish I had booked a longer stay.

Wow, what a characterful and historic place! We really enjoyed our stay. The views from our balcony (& big windows in the room) towards the fjord were lovely. Breakfast was very good. We can recommend the nearby cafe (also run by the hotel), where we had delicious afternoon tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and also an excellent evening meal of Thai curry! The hotel has only recently been taken over by a new owner and new staff & we wish them all the best. They were so friendly and gave us lots of helpful information about the area, and also about Norwegian life.

The stunning view, the well appointed and well equipped cabin made our stay very special. The communication with our host went smoothley and we enjoyed the little touches: Coffee capsules were provided, which is great when traveling around a lot and coffee making facilities are different everywhere you go. A little out of the way but very comfortable when you arrive. Full kitchen if you want to cater for yourself and wood fired stove to keep nice and cosy. After doing some of the local hikes it was very nice to come back and use the spa. We even had a visit from the friendly local cows.
