United StatesTraveling from the Black Hills in South Dakota to the Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, this lodge is an oasis in the plains of Wyoming. Located just off the main highway artery 80, it is a quiet place to spend the night. The decorations in the lodge and the wooden sculptures in front of the lodge provide a nice 'western' atmosphere, and so was the room with the large handcrafted wooden bed.
The manager's advice to have dinner at Buck's Sports Grill in the town center nearby was brilliant. We had excellent steaks and beers at a modest price in a friendly local setting. Both the lodge and the restaurant made us feel at home, and welcome, after a very long drive.
