Pretty good value for money (in this region of CA). It looks like owners live on the propoerty, and I felt they ensured the propoerty was safe (the larger area is quite frequented by people who do not appear to have a home). It is well looked-after (continuous improvements were being done). There was even a water dispenser in the laundry room for drinking water. We enjoyed having a freezer and fridge and microwave, made it much easier to handle food-supply for our little one. We purchased a travel bed and used that during our stay. All clean and neat. I am not a big fan of carpets in the rooms, but they were fine. Hopefully they will be the subjects of improvement soon :).

The property was in a great location only 12 mins drive to Monterey. It was a very quiet neighbourhood. The house is totally geared up for families with play equipment and toys. The house was very clean it had a good kitchen equipment and living room with tv. The master bedroom was comfortable the 2nd bedroom has bunk beds. There is a drive for off street parking. The owners were great at communicating I would recommend for a comfortable family stay

A lovely authentic Inn. Comfortable, characterful and friendly. The location is fantastic to stroll along the coast, enjoy the beach and walk to restaurants. We really appreciated the breakfast, bed time cookies and early evening wine and snacks.

We spent 3 nights here and it was very positive. Staff moved us to another room when I complained about crying baby and toddler in room above. Upgraded to a suite. Great hot breakfast with staff available to help out-dont forget to tip them. Staff from Monterey Fire Dept staying on site in case of local flood. Also was able to.walk to many restaurant options... nearby Thai restaurant great!

Cottage room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. It was really in a really quiet neighborhood. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Parking was right next to the room. Easy access to downtown but too far to walk. Our cottage had it's own outdoor fire pit. That was pretty cool.
