Was very clean and the rooms are roomy. It has everything. Close to the lake where you can have a beautiful walk. We also went to Shelly Beach, which is great. Will definitely come back. But then, for much longer. Owner very friendly.

First time we normally stay elsewhere but glad we stayed at Al Mare!! Loved the location and beach was so close, being able to have a spa and see outside also roomy! Wasn't cramped in a little apartment.. definitely stay again!

Sandcastles - Gorgeous beach house at North Avoca, que cuenta con vistas al jardín, dispone de alojamiento con terraza y balcón a unos 17 km de Memorial Park. The house was very roomy with a lot of thought in the layout, it was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, with a real beach vibe. The house could have easily accommodated 8 people with several separate entertainment areas and a great balcony. Avoca North beach was a fairly short 400m or so walk from the house that we enjoyed, with the added bonus of being able to walk down to Avoca if we wanted. Terrigal is only a short drive for some great restaurants, so all our needs were met. We loved the place, our host was great, always available to answer questions and help us if needed.

The house was well equipped with all we needed and the beds were the most comfy I have ever come across! Would happily stay again but feel it needed a better clean and should be stocked with toilet paper as we had to go and buy some.

A beautifully furnished and finished living space. Honestly one of the nicest private accommodations I’ve ever seen. Kitchen, furnishings, bathrooms, bedrooms, all very tasteful. Fantastic large space to all share a meal or relax in the lounge. VERY reasonable price for the quality and size. Short drive to shops in Gosford. Do yourself a favour, skip the grotty motels and hotels in the area. It’s still strategically close to the highway, and being set amongst a quiet equestrian facility makes it a nice experience. I will stay again 100%. Elsa and Joel are good folks.
