Cheap hotels in Canton of Basel-Stadt

The services were even better than I had imagined: everything was very clean, very efficient and I was provided with all the things that I needed. The location was ideal, some minutes away walking distance from the cental train station as well as from a public transport stop for the city center. The staff was extremely polite with me and amazingly helpful to all the requests of mine. I would totally recommend it and stay there again!

This was a very clean, decent hotel and for a pretty good price by Swiss standards. The room was spotless and the bathroom seemed newly renovated with a powerful, warm shower. The location was a 15min walk from old town and around 25 from the sbb which was fine for me but there are trams nearby if you don't fancy it.

BREAKFAST ROOM WAS ELEGANT AND THE FOOD WAS EVEN BETTER. OUR ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND VERY CLEAN. OUR ROOM WAS ON THE BACK AND VERY QUIET. AS TO LOCATION, IT WAS IDEAL AS WE WERE ON A SWISS TRAIN PASS AND THE HOTEL WAS NEAR THE TRAIN STATION. THUS, WE VISITED SEVERAL CITIES BY USING BASAL AS OUR HUB.

Ideally located for the Messe, which was what brought me to Basel. It would suit a couple looking for a stay of several days as it is very spacious, has a balcony and kitchen, and is also very affordable if only by Swiss standards. The location, in a residential area, is fine and it was not noisy at all.

Everything was perfect. The staff were fabulous, excellent customer service and always had a smile on their face. Loved having the coffee facilities available any time. Everywhere seemed very clean and the location was ideal. The bed was extremely comfortable too.

The hotel is located next to a tram line which is ideal for travelling around the City. The location was also ideal as we were visiting St Jakobshalle. The room was very clean and had great Wi-Fi and a really good selection of TV channels. Breakfast was very good and the staff organising it were great, very helpful.
