The property is set in a stunning area. Whilst Switzerland in general is extremely picturesque, you cannot beat the views which are on your door stop. You are set on Lake Zug with views of the surrounding mountains. Whilst slightly off the beaten track it is easy accessible with the train station a short 5 minute walk away with good connections. Not that you’d know because you don’t hear the trains! You can swim in the pool or take a swim in the lake or even better… paddle boarding! The outdoor area is well decorated with the sun setting down throughout the day. The property itself is designed for couples but is well designed, clean and modern. The host is happy to be contacted throughout the stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again despite being on the pricier side which I think is currently a fair value.

The location is truly amazing, with an unbelievable view and the lake entrance less than 100 meters from the door. Even with the cooler September weather, the crystal-clean water made for a great swim! The apartment is perfectly stocked with everything you need (and more), including a thoughtful welcoming box. Jean was the most helpful and friendly host we could ask for, treating my entire family (and our dog!) with exceptional kindness. This was, without a doubt, the most beautiful apartment and the best hosting experience we have ever had. Highly recommended, we look forward to returning!

We had three apartment style rooms for our trip. The elevators and parking were wonderful. The common space, laundry facility and cinema room were awesome. The coffee in the common area was great as well as location to cafe. This was a good central location for us to do our tour. We had an issue getting in, but was remedied fast with a phone call. The young lady that worked there during the day was very helpful. The vending machines in common area were also nice for late at night. We had an issue with the laundry an it was fixed promptly. Highly recommend staying, but note there is a lot of construction going on around this location.

The City Zug Apartments bevindt zich in Zug op 28 km van abdij van Einsiedeln en 31 km van Leeuwenmonument van Luzern. De accommodatie biedt een zithoek. De locatie is uitstekend, al is parkeren in het centrum van Zug vrij lastig en prijzig. Het appartement is vrij nieuw en eigenlijk van de meeste gemakken voorzien, helaas wel een beetje steriel en niet heel gezellig. Toegang is volledig elektronisch en werkt goed. Bedden waren ok, (slaap) bank iets minder. Alles was netjes schoon, ruime badkamer. De keuken was ruim maar zaken als een paar theezakjes of koffiecups ontbraken helaas.

Youth Hostel Zug ligt op slechts 2 minuten lopen van de oever van het meer van Zug en op 1 km van het treinstation van Zug. Het biedt WiFi in de openbare ruimtes. Very kind people. Eager to help even with things they didn't have to! Thank you very much. Very nice infrastructure and facilities. Would eagerly stay again.
