Hele aardige en gastvrije mensen, voelde mij erg welkom. Deden echt hun best voor je. Kamer was schoon er van alle gemakken voorzien. Na een lange dag reizen/wandelen in de bergen fijn om even bij te komen.

The hotel is located in a quiet area at the outskirts of Wulingyuan. But it's still very close to the east gate of the forest park and just a short walk from restaurants and bustling streets. The rooms had a mix of traditional Chinese and modern style. Shower was very hot and comfortable. Beds and room cleaned everyday. AC worked really well and kept the rooms cool. Breakfast on the rooftop was Chinese with 2 types of noodle dishes to choose from,, sweet potato, eggs. They also got some toast and had just bought a toaster. But no butter, jam, cheese or anything to put on it. However, they clearly advertise that they serve chinese breakfast. So the toast etc. was just a bonus. Instant coffee, the powder kind. If you want proper coffee you'll have to order from Luckin coffee or cotti coffe using delivery app. All in all think it's a spectacular place to stay in Wulingyuan. Highly recommend

Fenghuang Ancient Town Lazy Cat Riverside Inn bevindt zich in Fenghuang en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. Super convenient location. A stairway away from the entrance to Phoenix town, which makes it very easy to take a taxi, and a 5 min walk to Hongqiao bridge. Liù was an absolute top host; she recommended amazing lunch spots, the main must-sees and even went with me on a very late batik shopping sprint. The room is occupied by the massive and most comfy bed with a great view to the river - keep this in mind if you are carrying big luggage, there may not be a lot of space, but it is manageable. There is an electric kettle, complementary bottles of water, tea and instant coffee. Also, Liù offered a welcome basket of fruit! The bathroom was squeaky clean and toiletries were provided: shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes and combs. I wish I had stayed longer.

Changsha Desti Youth Park Hostel Wuyi Square ligt in Changsha, op 2 km van Taiping Street, en biedt versneld in- en uitchecken, rookvrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele... The best Desti “背包十年” that I stayed at in China. More social than other Desti hostels. Staff was really friendly and actually joined me for a run. I had a really great experience here! 😁

Everything from staff to property was amazing. We enjoyed our time with staff, food was delicious and plentiful. There recommendations for food off site was equally spot on. They went above and beyond. We had a medical issue and they accompanied us to the hospital to be sure all was taken care of. We have never been more impressed.
